It has been fun to watch the daffodils blooming on Janae's porch.
When we returned from Seville on Tuesday, February 11th Janae took us on a tour of the Rota Naval Air Base where she works.
It is a big base with lots of people living there.
The Rota Naval Base is shared by both the United States and Spain.
We enjoyed driving around the entire base with Janae.
There were lots of interesting things to see.

Janae took us to the elementary school where she teaches on base.

Janae teaches kindergarten on base.
She has 17 students in the morning and 17 students in the afternoon.
Janae teaches science and math in Spanish each day and then trades with another teacher that teaches in English.

There is a kitchen for the teachers between the two kindergarten classrooms.

I enjoyed seeing Janae's classroom. It brought back memories of when I taught 2nd grade years ago.
Everything in Janae's classroom is in Spanish.
The kindergarten children will be fluent in both Spanish and English.
