Downtown Disney

Our next adventure on Saturday evening, February 18, 2012 in California was to enjoy the night time atmosphere in Downtown Disney.
This is close to the Theme Parks of Disneyland and California Adventure.
This map at the parking lot showed us where everything was.
We enjoyed the lights and window shopping at the various stores.
Mickey Mouse was there to greet us.
Downtown Disney had lots of lights.
There were people there from all over the world.
We enjoyed going into the "World of Disney" store.
They had lots of cute disney characters to look at.
This mural was from Alice in Wonderland.
I enjoyed being there with my family.
All of the stores had nice displays.
Dallas and Jimmer liked the gorilla at the Rainforest Cafe.
This made a cute place to take photos of everyone.
My grandchildren give me lots of joy.
They had live entertainment at Downtown Disney.
The ESPN had this model of the Rose Bowl Football Game.
We found a steak house for a great dinner.
I like the cowboy pictures at the Steak House.
This reminds me of my brothers who are all cowboys.
The steak was delicious.
Tony had a unique way to rock his grandson.

Balboa Island

Saturday, February 18, 2012 I had another great day in California with my daughter and her family. They all made me feel welcome. This morning we explored Balboa Island.
We walked around the Island enjoying all the atmosphere of living close to the water.
I enjoyed seeing all the boats and yachts on the pier.
I especially enjoyed seeing the sail boats.
We walked down the public pier to the ocean.
I am on a pier at Balboa Island.
It is interesting to see how they live here.
I appreciate Miriam and Tony giving us this experience on the pier at Balboa Island.
I enjoyed being with Kasey and Emily.
My granddaughters were also fun to be with.
I took a photo of all family at the Public Pier at Balboa Island.
This would be an interesting life style.
Since Arizona is land locked I enjoyed all the water.
Kasey and Emily did their traditional dance on the Pier.
They are a cute family.
It was great to see the United States flag flying.
There were hundreds of little boats all around the Island.
We walked all around the Island.
All of it was very scenic.
There were some beautiful vacation homes on the Island.
We enjoyed all being together as we walked around the Island.
I enjoyed all the pretty flowers.
I was able to photograph six United States flags in this photo.
Most of the piers were private piers and had gates closing them off.
"Live well,Laugh often and Love Much" are good things to think about.
There were flowers in bloom everywhere.
This is the downtown area of Balboa Island.
They had lots of cute little shops that we explored.
We then walked up the other side of the Island.
The homes on this side of the Island were different than those on the other side.
It was a pleasant walk around the Island to enjoy the culture of those that live there. I wouldn't want to live here but it was fun to visit.
