I invited my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to a Halloween Home Evening on Monday evening, October 28, 2013
I made rolled out sugar cookies and decorated them to look like little Jack-o-Lantern's.
I purchased five pumpkins to have ready for pumpkin carving.
It is a tradition every year to have a Grandma's Halloween Home Evening the Monday night before Halloween.
It was fun decorating my home and getting ready for the party.
I made lots of pizza to feed everyone.
The pizza was just coming out of the oven when they arrived.
As soon as the children arrived we had a costume parade. Akensah had a unicorn for her costume.
Laney was a little puppy.
Ashlyn was a bumble bee.
Brig dressed up like Thomas the train.
Kyson had a shield and a sword.
Ray was a boy scout and held his little great niece who was a zebra.
I had my picture taken with some of my great grandchildren.
Bonnie had cute costumes for all of the grandchildren.
The children wanted to take a funny picture.
Jemma is about ready to crawl.
Dantley and Erin arrived with their children.
So we had another costume parade.
Maland had a cute costume.
He posed for my picture.
Koen was a puppy dog.
Mark and Marlene arrived.
Grandma dressed up like a fairy.
Ryan was a knight.
Tyler was a super hero.
Kyle also posed for my picture.
Quinn was a swimmer.
Marlene made a cute "Little Red Riding Hood". I loved her wig.
Mark dressed like a Hawaiian.
Everyone filled up with lots of pizza and then cookies.

They are both knights.
It is tradition for me to dress like a witch and tell the "Strange Visitor" Story.
I started telling the story to my children when they were toddlers.
"The old lady was all alone on Halloween. When someone knocked at the door and in walked two big big shoes and sat on the cold cold floor".
Some of the children have heard my story many many times but they still enjoy it.
This has been a fun tradition for me through the years.

Chelsea dressed like an "M & M" arrived late.
Fred helped Akensah make a Jack-o-Lantern.
Mark helped Kyson and Ryan.
Maland found a basket to climb into.
They made some cute Jack-o-Lanterns.
Everyone had a good time.
Akensah wanted a picture with her Jack-o-Lantern.
Uncle Ray and Ashlyn had a good time together.
Laney loved getting the seeds out of the pumpkin.

This was a fun evening for everyone.
Rauna and Fred had cute costumes. Rauna was the syrup and Fred the waffles.

We put candles in the Jack-o-Lanterns and set them out on my front porch.
Every family got to take a Jack-o-Lantern home.
This party is a tradition every year and lots of fun for me and my grandchildren.
