The view from the airplane showed lots of snow.
I was happy to see the Temple Square Shuttle.
You can see how high the snow is piled up next to the shuttle.
Temple Square was beautiful in the snow.
The snow continued to come down.
The snows on the trees at Temple Square added beauty with the Temple in the background.
The Assembly Hall was beautiful covered with snow.
I had a little time so I walked over to the Church History and Art Museum to see some more of the entries in the International Art Competition.
The theme of the competition is "Arise and Shine Forth". This painting shows various ways to show light. I like the little lamp in the front showing what the lamps looked light during the time Christ was here on the earth.
This painting shows the building of the Salt Lake Temple which did bring light into the world.
The snow on the trees added beauty to Temple Square with the Temple in the background.
This display showed furniture made especially for children.
In this painting of the missionaries teaching a family you can see a child under the table that is also listening.
The children are helping their mothers harvest the wheat in this painting.
Notice the child in this painting running to greet her father as he works in the fields.
Many children walked to Zion as they helped their families on the long trek.
Two little pioneer white blessing dresses for babies are on display.
The title of this exhibit is "Angels in White"
I enjoyed the "Portraits of Childhood" Exhibit and all the beautiful children displayed.
I took a photo for a family visiting from Ecuador so they could all be in it and then they took my photo in front of the window looking out at the temple in all the snow.
It was time to walk over too the Conference Center in all the snow.
I like this view showing just the top of the temple.
I feel that this is my building.
I always have a special feeling as I enter this dedicated building to the Lord.

I took these three men from Pasadena, California on tour.
They said they only had a few minutes but ended up wanting to take the complete tour.

The snow is piled high on the roof of the Conference Center.
It will be a long time before we are able to take tours out on the roof.
The trees on the roof of the Conference Center are beautiful.
My friend plays the piano beautifully for our enjoyment as we serve in the Conference Center.
Everything is beautiful in the Conference Center.
