Christmas Stockings

We celebrated Christmas a day early because their Dad is a doctor and had to work at the hospital on Christmas Day 2011. The day began with cinnamon rolls and fruit.
Next came the stockings. All the stockings were filled.
The children are looking to see what they got in their stockings. Jay loved to fill the stockings on Christmas and looked for fun things to include in the stockings.
The tradition continues. Their stockings were filled with lots of goodies.
Everyone got a big juicy orange.
Adam arranges the candy he received in his stocking.

Helping Santa

We had a great Christmas up in Utah with our grandchildren.
Kenneth and Jenni made it a very good Christmas for their children.
It warmed my heart to see them working so hard to bring happiness to their children at this Christmas time. Marcus is going to love his new trumpet.
This will replace the one that was stolen several years ago.
Jared is getting new guitar.
Ray checked it out and said that it looked like a good one.
They are going to be so excited about their new pool table.
They are also getting a new ping pong table.
Kenneth and Parker moved the pool table in by the tree.
It will be a fun surprise for the children.
Jenni had lots of presents that we helped her wrap.

The ping pong table will be lots of fun too.
This will be a great Christmas for them.
The tree looks very festive as more and more presents appear around the tree.
Christmas is a great time of year. I am grateful that my children have such great families.
Kenneth and Jenni work to put together a doll house for Betsy. She will love playing with it.

Candy Houses, Santa Look a Like and More

We had such a good family time together with Kenneth and Jenni on their Christmas Eve.
They had all the makings for candy houses out for the children to enjoy. They didn't have long to work on them before it was time for Melvin and Tami and family to leave.
Marcus puts his candy house together.
Next came a Santa Look Alike Contest. Andy uses cream to make a beard.
I had fun making a beard to look like Santa also.
I had another gift to unwrap. I loved the owl wrapping paper.

Parker helped us finish the candy house.
Parker helped make a Christmas tree and a snowman. We even have a chimney with Santa going down it.
Note the wood pile at the back of the house and the stepping stones on the walk.
We also made a swimming pool with fish swimming in it. We had a good time together trying to be creative.
