My goal is to go to the temple every week.  This week I didn't get there until Friday, May 27, 2016/
Saturday evening, May 28, 2016  I went over to Mark and Marlene's for the wedding open house for Jaron and Dania.
Jaron and Dania were married a month ago in the Provo City Center Temple.  They are both busy with school and work so couldn't come down to Arizona until now.
Mark and Marlene  painted their home and got new carpet before the open house.  Their home really looks nice.
This is a new painting on the wall.
The hutch is filled with pictures of Jaron and Dania.
They put their family in a new place.
They redid this wall showing pictures of each of their thirteen children.
Mark also made new kitchen cabinets.
It was a beautiful night so they set up the food and tables and chairs outside.  They served some delicious  Mexican food.
Jaron and Dania have some beautiful wedding pictures.
They have a nice back yard for the open house.
I enjoyed eating with children and grandchildren.
It was a wonderful party for the newly weds.

Everyone seemed to be having a good time.

Jaron and Dallin make a beautiful couple.
Mark and Marlene's home was beautifully decorated for the Open House./
Rauna and her new grandbaby Stratten.
ASt the end of the open  house we all enjoyed watching the video of Jaron and Dania in the living room.
                                                              I got to hold Stratten.
Jaron and Dania with their mothers.
Jaron and Dania with their grandmothers.
                                                        They both seem so happy.
                                                            Stratten was wide awake.
Jaymin is learning how to walk.
Jaron and Dania got lots of nice presents.  I wish them lots of happiness as they begin their forever family.

Dale Graduates

This has been a week of graduations with grandsons Evan and now Dale graduating from Seminary and High School.
Dale graduated from seminary on May 24, 2016.  He worked hard to pass all the requirements and attend for four years.
Dale sang in a vocal ensemble at graduation with four boys and four girls.  They sang, "My Kindness Shall Not Depart From Thee."  It was beautiful.
Rauna played the prelude music and accompanied the closing song with all the graduates.  They sang, "As Sisters in Zion/We'll Bring the World His Truth".
I am happy that I could be with Dale along with his parents to honor him at his Seminary graduaton.

Thursday evening, May 26th, Rauna invited me to come to their home for dinner to honor Dale on his High School graduation.
I went early to quilt on the quilt that Rauna is making for Parker and Nieves.
                                                             It is a beautiful quilt.
It was great to honor Dale on his high school graduation..
Rauna  had a nice lasagna dinner prepared.

Rauna made graduation caps for dessert.

After dinner Dale opened up his graduation gifts.
I gave Dale a set of pocket scriptures for his high school graduation as he prepares for his mission.

Dale opened the big wrapped present last.
Maland and Koen helped him remove all of the wrapping paper.
Dale opens the big box.  What could be inside?
The box was filled with lots of newspapers.
He kept pulling out more and more newspapers.
There were lots of newspapers inside.
Dale had lots of help from his little nephews.
The newspapers were fun to play with.
Dale finds his gift at the very bottom of the box
                                                     Dale was so excited..
His parents gave him two tickets to "Newsies".
