We are having a wonderful Christmas and feel so very blessed.

I could hardly wait for Ray and Amy to open our gifts to them.

They were delighted with the framed pictures of Christ to hang in their home. Ray's painting is of Christ as a shepherd over his sheep.

Amy's painting is named
The Better Part and shows Mary and Martha with Christ. Amy is delighted that the painting has the colors she is using to decorate her home.

My gift to Jay is a new DVD and VCR player. Our old one is broken.

Another gift we gave Ray is a plaque that says,
LOVE is the Key to Happiness.
He said he would find a place for it in his home.

We gave Amy a plaque that says
LOVE of Family is the Key to Happiness.
I gave them another gift to open.

This is a book that I think they will enjoy adding to their library and reading this year.

The name of the book is
Living the Book of Mormon-Abiding By Its Precepts.
Ray gave his Dad a new shirt.

Ray helps his Dad eat some of the raisinets he gave him for Christmas.

I open Ray's gift to me.

He gave me three new games that we will enjoy playing-
Rummikub, Upwards and
Villa Paletti.
Ray gave Amy a watch that will take her pulse after exercising.

He shows her how to use it.

Amy tries taking her pulse with her watch.

Ray thought of a nice gift for his sister since she plans to train to run a marathon.

Amy gave Ray a gift certificate for paint and a coupon to help him paint his home.

Amy researched out the colors that would give his home the outdoors look.

Amy gave Ray some ideas on how to paint his home.

Amy also gave Ray a cactus for his home.

Amy kisses her Dad as she gives her present to him. She found some lavender oils and a lavender candle that is suppose to help him feel better.

We hope it works.

Amy gave me a gift certificate for a pedicure and manicure. This is something I will enjoy using.

Amy laughs at the saw I wrapped up for her.

Jay seemed to enjoy the Christmas activities even though he can't communicate with us through words.

Amy opens up more of her Christmas gifts.

Ray also gave the family the
American Idol Dance Showdown. He said he thinks the grandchildren will enjoy playing with it.

Melvin gave Ray a nice jacket to wear on his hikes.

Ray got for himself a very light weight but warm mummy sleeping bag.

Ray shows Amy how light his new sleeping bag is.

Amy listens as Ray explains how warm it is but it is still very light.

Ray demonstrated his new sleeping bag.

Thanks Ray for demonstrating it for us.

Amy said that he looks like a cocoon before it becomes a butterfly.

I show Jay the new DVD's I got for him. It is a set of Rodger Hammerstein videos including
Oklahoma, The King and I, South Pacific, State Fair and Sound of Music. This will give him some good entertainment.
