I had a wonderful day on June 12, 2005, my 85th birthday. I began the day by calling my twin sister, Leona to wish her a Happy Birthday and also my brother Garry who was born on our 7th birthday.
Amy brought biscuits and gravy over for my birthday breakfast.
Amy gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my birthday. She also gave me some birthdeay balloons and chocolates.
Miriam had all her brothers and sisters write their testimony and tribute to me along with a photo of their family. What better gift cold I hve than the testimonies of my children? I really treasure this gift.

Rauna and Marlene came early to set up the table and decorations for my birthday dinner.
Carl and Tori drove up from Tucson for my birthday party. This was my first time to see their cute baby Levi.
Tori knew I liked chili rellenos so she made some for me.
Adrianne stopped by but didn't stay for my birthday dinner.
I enjoyed having so many grandchidren here. Jordan came from Flagstaff and Bonnie and Dallin and their families came.
It was fun having us all sit around a long table together. Kyle brought his friend Emily.
The Mexican food was delicious. We enjoyed visiting together while we ate. My grandchildren asked me to share with them some of my life's experiences which was fun. I am happy that they were interested.
I enjoyed having everyone sing Happy Birthday to me.
Because of Covid 19 I clapped the candles out i stead of blowing them out after I made my birthday wish.
For my birthday Rauna gave me a book, as poster and a beautiful towel that she embroidered with our family motto,"The answer is more love" .

My children made my home very festive for my birthday celebration.
Throughout the day I got telephone calls, email calls and face book calls form 129 of my friends and family. I responded to each one and thanked them for remembering me on my birthday. I feel so blessed to have a wonderful family that expressed their love for me and lots of good friends.
