We decorated with corn stocks and burlap at the entrance.

I also told a true pioneer story about a little girl that was protected by a bear.
We had lots of people come to hear the stories.
We told the stories several times throughout the evening.

Kathy set up some doughnuts on a string.
They brought this carriage out in front of one of the cabins.
She played the violin while some children danced the Virginia reel.
Another activity was making candles.
The corn husks dolls were fun to make.
This was another fun activity for the children.

The children enjoyed pushing and riding in the hand carts.
