I enjoyed attending the Rocky Mountain Marching Band Invitational held at the BYU Football Stadium on Tuesday evening October 18, 2016.
I listened to almost twenty band perform their shows.
Of course my favorite was the Timp View High School Band. I love this picture taken of Betsy and her Dad during their California Band Trip. Kenneth is very supportive of all the activities that his children are involved in and helps set up at each of their competition. He went on their tour as the band doctor.
Betsy plays trombone in the Timp View Band. This is the trombone section.
The theme for the Timpview High School Marching Band this year is "Fusion". While the band marched they played "Night Watch", "Pegasus", "Paint it Black" and "Open Up Wide".
Timp View was scheduled to perform their show for competition at 8:30 pm.
Kenneth is helping to set up the stand for the band for the drum major.
They only had a short time to get everything set up for the band show.

Representatives from all the bands competing came out on the field for the trophies.
Timpview won first place for the bands from the 4A Schools.
The Timpview Band won three trophies for their performances.
It was a great evening. I enjoyed watching all the bands but especially the Timpview Band. Betsy and the other band members worked hard to put on a great show.
