It was great to be in Council Bluffs to help celebrate my granddaughter's birthday.
Kayla is a beautiful girl and very talented. Besides being a High School Cheer leader she is also concert mistress in their orchestra and ranked #1 in her senior class. I know she will continue to do lots of great things in her life.
Kayla's Dad took us all to the Longhorn Steak House for a delicious steak dinner.
Skyler, Rebekah and their two cute children also were invited to have dinner with us.
We all enjoyed being with Kayla and helping her celebrate her birthday.
Alicia had her face painted from a fun activity at the park during the day.
Kayla's Dad got her a special ice cream dessert.
After dinner we took care of Skyler and Rebekah's children so that they could have a date.

The photography company used Kayla's picture to advertise their services for the other seniors in her high school.
Sunday morning Tony left early for meetings.
I enjoyed the drive with Miriam to the Kanesville Ward where we met for our Sunday meetings.

Miriam did everything possible to make this a special birthday for her daughter.

I went with the family to a senior fireside for the stake where Tony was one of the speakers. Afterwards they served another birthday cake to again wish Kayla a "
Happy Birthday". She had a great birthday.
